Anchorage Trolley received the Contribution to the Community Award for bringing positive attention to the visitor industry.

It was a night of adventure as Visit Anchorage celebrated another successful year and honored its special members during its annual Seymour Awards dinner.

Alaska Airlines was named Member of the Year for its outstanding contributions. Cryus Aldeman, Anchorage Trolley, received the Contribution to the Community Award for bringing positive attention to the visitor industry.

For her legacy of creating the Alaska mystique that Visit Anchorage sells to the world, Trish Costello, Talkeetna Roadhouse, received the All Alaskan Award.

Premier Alaska Tours was named Tour Operator of the Year while the Meeting Planner of the Year was David Kasser, Adventure Travel World Summit and Go West Summit.

The Member Contribution to Visit Anchorage Award went to the Alaska Railroad. Lazy Otter Charters received the Visitor Industry Advancement Award, which recognizes innovation, new business and/or industry advocacy.

Volunteers of the Year were Jackie Owen, downtown, and Wayne and Carol Lewis, airport.
