Travelers have two new choices for exploring Alaska by road, including alternatives for both independent travelers and those seeking more suggestions and structure.

Anchorage-based Get Lost Travel Vans now rents camper vans that accommodate up to four adults, or two adults and three small children, with double beds in the main-cabin and pop-up rooftop tent. Unlimited mileage and the use of bedding and window blackout panels are included in the rental price.

Vans are equipped with a two-burner propane stove, small refrigerator, sink with electric pump and kitchenware. Drivers can also rent camp chairs, coolers, coffee presses and extra supplies.

Rates start at $189 plus tax, per night, for seven nights or more; shorter-term reservations are also available at www.getlosttravelvans.com.
